"Vampire's Kiss is book 3 in the Guardians series. This is Seth and Kaitlyn (Katie) story. It is beautifully written with an engaging storyline and wonderful characters (both MC and secondary). Katie and Seth experience a sizzling attraction and each is perfect for the other. There are twists/turns aplenty with lots of action, drama, humor and romance to keep you reading to the last page. This is definitely a must read along with the first two books in the series (to fully experience this tale, I recommend they be read in order). Highly recommended. Received a copy and this is my voluntary and honest review."

• I love this series. I hope book 6 will come soon 😊
• My thanks to the author for the ARC, and this review is, as always, voluntary, independent, and uncompensated. Fans of PNR know Valerie Twombly writes good ones. This one just isn't quite up to her usual high standards. Granted, Vampire's Kiss is book 3 in the Guardians series, and I missed books 1 and 2, but there's enough recap and backstory to make sense of the romance , if not the overall plot of the series. Therein lies the problem. Since the action and the battles and the alliances on both sides of the good/evil divide weren't sufficiently clarified to hold my interest, I was focused on the romance between human Kaitlyn O'Hara and Vampire Guardian Seth. Gack!! It's a frustrating tale of a doomed vampire, Seth, who is granted the unexpected gifts of salvation and happiness. Does our noble, long-suffering hero grab on with both hands, thank fate for the gift, and proceed directly to HEA? No-oo! This strung-out head case with an addiction to martyrdom and self-mutilation does everything he can to fight his own recovery and his fated bond to Kaitlyn. And if that puts her, humanity, and him in peril of their lives? - 'I'm not good enough for her! Let me die! WHINE! SNIVEL! Seth may be TSTL, but Kaitlyn's a human - i.e., determined, resourceful, mentally strong and prone to fight for the right. She knows they need each other, are bound together by fate for all eternity, and must do their part in the war against evil or humanity will perish. She does what needs doing, enlisting all manner of aid and assistance from all manner of supernatural sources, and shows her idiot intended how a REAL Guardian should act. I felt sorry for Kaitlyn - she's a fine heroine who kisses a Paranormal Prince, and ends up with a frog.
• Vampire's Kiss is book 3 in the "Guardians" series and let me just say they keep getting better. This book focuses on Seth and Kaitlyn (Katie). Seth was the first guardian created by Zarek, over the years the voices in his head have grown stronger driving him crazy and further into darkness. Katie was born to fight demons, she kills them with a special dagger that her mom gave her but Katie has know idea how special she really is. This was a fabulous read. Katie was a perfect match for Seth, she was very strong and smart. Seth was strong, cunning and stubborn. These two have a sizzling attraction and their chemistry is off the charts. The book was well written with an engaging storyline. I loved the twists and turns in the plot and the secondary characters were awesome. This is definitely a must read for anyone who loves paranormal romance. Highly Recommend!

• This PNR series is so good. Complex and dramatic, the storyline is well written and gripping. Lots of drama, danger and emotional turmoil will keep you on edge as Seth and Katie's romance evolves. I loved both these characters. Seth was such an amazing character. His internal emotional struggle as he deals with who and what he is and his longing and affection for Katie, is powerful and touching. It will make you swoon and fall totally in love with him. Katie has her own battles and baggage to deal with. She is an amazingly strong, smart, levelheaded, sassy and a totally kick*** heroine. For me this series just keeps getting better and I highly recommend it. This is my frank, freely posted review.

• ** spoiler alert ** Seth is turning to the darkness and knows that his time is limited. Kaitlyn is struggling with learning that not everything she thought she knew is true. Fate has plans. Will Kaitlyn accept that she doesn't have to be independent? Will Seth allow her the chance to rescue him?
  
  Loved the love-hate relationship between these two. I didn't blame Seth for his thinking being that he had lived a long time and had accepted what was happening, just for everything to change. I liked how strong Kaitlyn was and how determined she was to do what she could to save him. Good read!
• This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Vampire's Kiss by Valerie Twombly is the third book in the Guardians series. Katie and Seth's story will leave you exhausted. There is so much action, drama, humor, romance and a bit of suspense happening that the sexy bits are when you catch your breathe just to lose it again. This is an amazing series with characters that run the gamut from quiet and introspective to strong, aggressive and sexy. You just can't get enough! is an on-going series and does not resolve in this book. Each book follows a different couple and should definitely be read in series order.
• This was an incredible book! Seth and Katie overcome much and the end is beautiful! This series is one I highly recommend and should be done in book order. The ending was interesting as well. The king will have his hands full that's for sure! I have a feeling that Baal will be in for a ride of his life to with his mate. A fantastic book and I look forward to reading many, many more!
